Family Reunion FUN!!

The last time the whole OBERG clan was all together was 2000.
Needless to say I was PRETTY EXCITED!

My family flew in a couple days early and got to spend sometime together.
Saturday we spent the day at 7 peaks. ( it was 102 degrees and I think we all roasted like little piggies)
Lila has grown up so much since the last time I saw here. Sometimes,( most the time ) I wish Alaska wasn't so far away!

Sunday Sandy and I spoke in Church. It was so nice to look down and see my Mom, Dad, brother, and my 2 younger sisters seating in the crowd.

Monday we packed up and headed for BEAR LAKE :)!!
Some people were pretty pooped!

Tuesday all 120 of us headed for the North Beach and spent the day boating and having fun in the water. I have never been to bear lake and I was so SHOCKED at how clean the lake was! I'm not much of a dirty lake ( and by dirty I mean seaweed. It scares the crap outta me) So I was pleasantly surprised!

We rented out banana boats and had a blast! My Mom and her sisters thought it would be fun to take a ride all together. They made the mistake to have there ONE and OLDER brother drive the boat.  He got his fun in tipping them over when the really didn't want to. Gotta love brothers!

Wednesday my mom headed up the Oberg Family Olympics. It was so much fun that I totally forgot to take pictures.  After wards we all cleaned up and took a group picture!

I pretty much have the best family in the WORLD!
I'm so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful loving family.

After the reunion, My family headed up to Idaho to Katie's place to spend a little extra time together.

Kenadie's birthday was during the reunion so once we got to Katie's we celebrated her 4th birthday.

This girl has grown up so fast! She is so fun to be around.
She has also master the art of "body sass" as she is demonstrating in the picture.

Everyone went to see the fireworks that night, I caught the lovely flu that day so I stayed behind and caught up and some MUCH needed sleep.

We went down to Central Utah after Idaho and visited my Grandma's grave.
The four youngest kids

I am so grateful I got to spend so much time with my family. I miss them already!

After 11 days of fun, my body was worn out!

  1. This makes me wish I had a big family! I only have 7 cousins! There are seriously more kids in my family then there are cousins...Needless to say i'm pretty jealous. That all looks like so much fun!
