Alaska the LAST FRONTIER

Since the day I have been diagnosed all I have REALLY wanted to do was go HOME <3.
Oh how I have missed this lovely site!
Pioneer Peak Mountain.

On August 7th I headed off to Home Sweet Home. Sandy stayed behind to finish his last week at his old job.  Cassie was the lucky one this time and got to come along.
Although I know I live in a great place in Utah, I can't deny the fact that ALASKA truly has my heart. This is where I grew up for 13 years. Elementary, Middle school, and High School memories all rest in this place.

The day before I came up my dad called me up to play in a scramble golf tournament. After telling him that I really am not that great he finally convinced me to play.  I struggled the first 6 holes. Since my dad is like the best golfer ever and teacher! ( yes I'm biased because he is my dad and in the BYU Cougar Hall of Fame) On hole 7 I started to rip it. The last hole my dad only out drove my by 60 yards. Not to shabby I have to say.
Dad thank you so much for inviting me. This is truly a memory I will never forget with my dad <3

The very next day my best friend Sara got married!
Its crazy to think that we are old enough to do this stuff!

I feel like these days were just yesterday ( back to the old days baby!)

Now after many years of puberty, a little wisdom, and beauty we have grown into this:

Sara Congrats on your big day! I am so lucky to have been a part of it!

The rest of my trip home I enjoyed being with my family. Spent a lot of hours helping my parents with their Bed and Breakfast, playing bad-mitten, hiking, blueberry picking, and late nights watching movies with my little sisters :)

~ Blueberry Picking in the clouds ~
~ I love Fireweed, even if it is a weed! ~

~ Cassie enjoying the FREEDOM of the woods!~
~ She also likes friends~

I love my little Sisters!

Another treat was seeing this GIRL!
I haven't seen Kyleigh since I was married, over 2 years!
Kyleigh I sure have missed you and sure am glad I got to see you! love you to DEATH!

This was truly a trip home I will never forget! I already can't wait to go back!

People if you haven't been to Alaska. Add it to your Bucklist. Its awesome!
