California and Sweet Corban

After saying my goodbyes in Alaska, I flew down to California. 

I met Sandy and we spent a fun week with his family. 

We spent a few days going to the beach, laying by the pool, and late nights playing cards.  It was hard to not have our sweet Darren there. I think since I have been diagnosed and going through my treatments, I have not dealt with him being gone until this trip. We missed him dearly. 

While I was there I got to meet such a sweet ANGEL <3 

Corban Larsen is in my Mother in laws ward. He is only 9 years old and having to face this HORRIBLE thing called Cancer! 

He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma earlier this summer. 

I was so lucky to have met him. He has the strongest spirit I have ever seen. It truly breaks me heart to see someone so perfect and sweet have to face such an ugly disease. Let me tell you though this kid does it like a CHAMP! He also has such an amazing family! Angeala, his mother, is such a strong women. Bewteen the two of them, this cancer doesn't stand a chance! 

Corban, I hope you know how much you have touched my heart. I am so glad I have gotten to meet you! I am routing for you 110%. Remember you will NEVER FIGHT ALONE!
